Job Description

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join their client's team in California. This role is crucial for managing the accounts receivable processes and ensuring the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of accounts receivable data.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and provide insights to management.
  • Maintain detailed records of payment histories and account information.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address billing inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist with the implementation of accounts receivable best practices and process improvements.
  • Support additional accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma required; additional certifications in finance or accounting are a plus.
